This Round Up, we chat about the current crime spree hurting Democrats, Amazon and its “woke” Rings of Power lacking viewers, Hershel Walker is up in the Georgia Senate race, and more!

SPORTS ROUND UP

Walker Up Five Points in Georgia Weeks Before Election Day (The Daily Caller)

This is no surprise because the farther out the election, the more corrupt polls are. All you must do is look at the raw data and questions, and it’s easy to figure out the corrupt ones.

However, as elections get closer, these pollsters don’t want to be seen as idiots and lose business down the road and/or guest appearances on networks. Thus, the closer we get, the polls tighten up with more realistic expectations.

Let’s hope there aren’t any water pipes supposedly breaking this cycle on election night in Georgia!

NBA Insider Talks League’ Chatter’ About 76ers’ Doc Rivers (Sports Illustrated)

Will Doc Rivers be the first NBA head coach casualty? Who knows, but it’s no doubt 76ers fans have had enough of him based on expectations.

Let’s not forget Daryl Morey, who built this team for a supposed run by bringing in an overweight, over-the-hill James Harden. Doc can only coach what he has, and if his best player isn’t willing to give 100 percent, what do you expect?

NFL trade rumors: 12 players most likely to be traded at the 2022 deadline (Sporting News)

You can’t argue with the scenarios the writer draws on. Still, only a handful of these players will probably move. The NFL is not a league of shakers and movers regarding trades.

Part of that is because of the salary cap; part of it is learning a new system and if the player’s a difference maker. Obviously, we’re talking about significant trades.

A player here and there to fill in a soft spot or an injured starter is more than likely to happen, but not players with big cap hits.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen confirm ‘painful’ divorce (nypost.com)

Who cares outside their own families? Divorce is part of life, and fantasy football owners and NFL fans care more for his play on the field than off. This is a product of a news media that needs as much news as possible to fill the airwaves and to create “clickbait” online.

Tom Brady, the Buccaneers, criticized after TNF dud (thecomeback.com)

The only person, anyone, should feel bad about is head coach Todd Bowles. A maligned former New York Jets head coach who is central to the media in racial games they play. Yet he doesn’t ask for any of this attention. In fact, he’s old school and believes in hard work first, not color.

This is all crashing down on him, and he’s been nothing but a good, fair, hardworking man his whole professional career. His job is on the line here, but no one cares, as it’s all about Tom Brady, even when it isn’t.

It’s about player management from the general manager and not getting the offensive line to come back. Or bringing in fresh blood that could gel to become one of the league’s best units. That’s where the offensive line was last year.

Breaking News – John Fetterman, U.S. Senate Candidate (D-PA) (sportsgrumblings.com)

In this exclusive Sports Grumblings press conference, Democratic candidate for Senate, John Fetterman, lays out some of his policy positions. Fetterman also reminds us not to vote for his opponent Mehmet Oz.

POLITICS, POP CULTURE, AND ENTERTAINMENT

In key battlegrounds, GOP onslaught of crime ads tightens Senate races (nbcnews.com)

It’s about time the Republican Party takes control of the narrative. Although we sound like a broken record, never underestimate the GOP’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

So far, candidates are focusing on the economy, inflation and education. They’re not falling for the social issue attacks and responding. They’re ignoring them and hammering leftists on how they’re hurting Americans – kitchen politics.

Could Elon Musk Completely Derail the Midterm Elections? (newsweek.com)

This writer believes Twitter never censored conservatives. The comments from other sources act as if Twitter was a public forum for discussion with no censorship. It is ideological lunacy and lies.

The writer wrongfully believes Elon Musk threatens democracy. Another blatant lie meant to create a false narrative. Unless she believes authoritarian-socialist democracy is in danger. If so, then we hope it goes extinct!

Amazon has been suspiciously quiet about ‘The Rings of Power’ viewership (Business Insider India)

Go woke, go broke, and the irony never ceases to amaze our Brown Grumbler. In cultural appropriation – a belief of racists and race hustlers on the left – it’s never a problem when changing everything white. The hypocrisy, when noted the other way around, is deafening!

Changing J. R. R. Tolkien’s vision and the world he created to suit the “woke” is likely destroying this show. As well as all the reviews on the stories themselves; they’re horrific.

Quantum Leap Reboot Headed to Cancellation (giantfreakinrobot.com)

Did Scott Bakula know something we didn’t about this truly abhorrent “woke” reboot? Let’s not forget the original is a woke show but done in a way to move us forward as Americans. Not to blame white Americans and put the sins of humanity on their shoulders while race hustlers pretend their own are saints.

Then there’s the possibility that maybe there’s no replacing Bakula, who gave this show its heart and soul, and his character is why we came back every week.

John Fetterman camp claims captions were ‘filled with errors’ during senate debate (nypost.com)

It’s never John Fetterman’s fault! Whether a debate, destroying property as mayor, hunting down an innocent black man, then holding him at gunpoint, or releasing hundreds of criminals that went back to commit crimes. It is never his fault, and don’t you ever forget it.
