SPORTS ROUND UP

Pat Perez rips Tiger Woods over LIV Golf comments (Yardbarker)

The rip on Tiger Woods is spot on. It’s excellent that Pat Perez backs up his arguments with examples.

That Tiger’s father “technically” worked for the sports company that hired him as a “talent scout” is something Tiger forgets to hear.

Truth: if Tiger Woods wasn’t his son, Tiger’s dad would never have been part of the company. So, Tiger’s a hypocrite!

NHL, NHLPA slash plans for World Cup of Hockey in 2024 (espn.com)

Talk about inept logistics, politics, and ineffective business development destroying something! WOW!

Another black eye, but one that is nearly impossible to blame anyone since a season affects everything.

However, the NHL has overcome similar obstacles in the past. Thus, it is a “black eye” for everyone involved.

Spotrac’s MLB Financial Offseason Series (Spotrac Research)

A fantasy baseball nerd’s wet dream. They’ll get off on this since they don’t have many shots with women!

Despite the jokes, data makes fantasy sports winners! Go geek power!

Trailblazing sportswriter Jane Gross dies at 75 (awfulannouncing.com)

RIP, Ms. Gross. She ventured where women once could not and broke barriers. But that one should not be broken until true equality is achieved.

Feminazi hypocrisy: female locker rooms don’t allow male reporters. It’s a double standard, but the powers that be don’t care.

Sports World Reacts to Legendary UFC Star’s Death (The Spun)

Rumble, RIP. Much love as you begin your next journey.

Although we don’t know what happened, his family and friends have lost a loved one. RIP.

SPORTS GRUMBLINGS SPOTLIGHT

Big Questions with Big John – Bob Zadek, Libertarian Host (sportsgrumblings.com)

In this episode, Sports Grumblings’ founder, John T. Georgopoulos, welcomes back libertarian radio host Bob Zadek to discuss the liberty perspective on sports-related issues. It’s another must-listen-to episode!

POLITICS, POP CULTURE, AND ENTERTAINMENT

Fit Grandma Looking for a ‘Boyfriend for Hire’ To Make OnlyFans Content With (OutKick)

We’re an obese society. Prepubescent fat begins because of lazy and overprotective parenting who see danger everywhere. Even when 99 percent of the time, none exists. So, they trap kids today indoors playing video games.

Hotties in their fifties abound and she can find an OnlyFans partner at any military base.

Steven Spielberg Criticizes Shift Away from Theaters and Toward Streaming (GameSpot)

Steven Spielberg is wrong. Similar evolution from radio to television. Streaming is the future. Theatres like radio will remain but will not be as dominant as they once were.

Americans prefer creature comforts at home. We receive that from society.

Amazon Music’s new update faces major backlash from users (piunikaweb.com)

Amazon embraced full-blown “woke” as they destroyed Middle Earth in the “Rings of Power” series.

That’s not enough. It’s now destroying Amazon Music. People are upset about the changes that no longer allow you to play “free” songs. Instead, Amazon forces a shuffle of similar songs. Not what you want.

We’re losing the “Amazon Music” benefits of Amazon Prime. If upset, it’s not surprising as they’re trying to upsell Amazon Prime members on “Unlimited Music,” which adds another $100 per year. Don’t forget Amazon is still losing money.

As a “now” former Amazon Music customer, our Brown Grumbler believes this will backfire. Now he only listens to what he paid for and buys music from Apple Music.

NETFLIX: THE THOUGHTFUL APPROACH TO SCREWING CUSTOMERS

Netflix Password-Sharing Crackdown Coming in Early 2023 — Here’s What to Expect (GameSpot)

Their “thoughtful approach” to screwing customers. Amazing! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Seriously, Netflix is fighting password abuse. Do you blame them? Most people, especially those born with Internet access, believe most of it should be free, including streaming.

Netflix and other services are just beginning to battle.

Swimmer Injured in Apparent Shark Attack in Del Mar; Beach Closed (Times of San Diego)

It’s old, but these stories are always scary. Understanding lessons that create fear helps shed that fear, but this one’s an ugly fact.

In San Diego, they have protected wildlife after the city stole donated property for a specific use and turned it into a wildlife sanctuary – seals specifically. Seals will attract sharks from thousands of miles away.

This results in shark attacks up and down the Southern California coast, especially when juvenile sharks don’t know the difference between humans and fish.

Brian Nguyen wins ‘Miss Greater Derry’ beauty pageant, which provides scholarships to ‘young women’ (twitchy.com)

America ruins the lives of women. 🤦🏽‍♂️

What else can we say? An event to benefit young women, and a man with a schlong claiming he identifies as a woman, can participate. Then to win is beyond words.

This shows how pathetic Western society has become. Women should suffer to help mentally ill men.

Shake Shack Customer Says Self-Checkout Kiosk Asked Her to Leave A Tip (OutKick)

Make sure you tip unless the service is shoddy. Tipping is part of their salary or wage, so that’s the golden rule.

But do not tip self-serve. It’s abuse. Ill-gotten gains characterize Western society, and that’s what this is. It’s more appropriate to tip yourself!

BIG TECH CREATES HERMITS

Instagram starts rolling out scheduled posts (Digital Trends)

Big tech creates hermits. Businesses love this tool, but so do consumers. Big tech makes life easier, but how many people are not living life anymore because of its addictions?

Our devices consume us, and we don’t live as we no longer understand “life is a journey; make it an adventure.” It’s fantasy and living through others now.
