The Round Up

This Round Up brings us, Cristiano Ronaldo and his legacy, the Twitter Files exposing leftist and Democrat lies, race-hustler Jemele Hill can’t give her book away, and more.

As we face vital issues in America, the Round Up is your answer for a world that moves fast. Having legitimate news stories as opposed to the mainstream media narrative is extremely important in understanding the truth.

These are stories that affect us and make us think and laugh too! There are also stories of poignancy, remembrance, and good old fun, because “laughter is still the best medicine!”

We aggregate from thousands of sources. Enjoy, enlighten, and educate yourselves about the reality of today’s America and the New World Order, or as one of our owners would say, “Live and learn.”

THE SPORTS ROUND UP

Mets sign Japanese ace Senga to five-year deal (Yardbarker)

We’ve seen this before with mixed results. For every Shohei Ohtani and Hideo Nomo, there will be a Hideki Irabu.

Nevertheless, $75 million is beyond a lot of money to give a player who the team has no clue can play at an MLB level. At the end of the day, no one knows if his “stuff” will translate and dominate. Remember Irabu.

While the tale of Irabu is a popular lesson it’s obviously forgotten. We’ll see where Kodai Senga falls.

UConn, Big Ten lead college basketball overreactions (Sports Illustrated)

College basketball is the most organized and determined to find its best team every year. Why? March Madness is the best-built playoff system to determine the best team in the nation. That’s so far from an elitist, good-old-boys-country-club mentality that permeates from the SEC, which controls the old guard that keeps college football a corrupt fixed system.

We would stake our souls if they had a system like March Madness. These perennial powerhouses wouldn’t be perennial. Thus, schools like Alabama would have to prove they belong in the playoffs versus coaches picking them. Thus, they would not be in the final bracket every year. College football is intent on preserving an old system built with one goal: financially reward the few.

A SHATTERED LEGACY

Cristiano Ronaldo speaks for the first time since Portugal’s shock World Cup exit (Daily Mail Online)

As we say in the states, the great Ronaldo has no ring regarding World Cup championships. When it comes to the legacy of soccer, and you compare him to the greats, such as Pele, the original Ronaldo, and others, Cristiano Ronaldo falls short. Way short. Those individuals won World Cups. Hence, Ronaldo doesn’t stack up.

Henceforth, he’ll never be seen as one of the greatest soccer players in history. Sad but true. His legacy will always be a tier or two below theirs, fair or not!

Jemele Hill’s New Book Has Sold Just 5,034 Copies (outkick.com)

Once a well-known progressive but always swine, Jemele Hill’s career has come crashing down without the backing of ESPN! Those of us who are involved in politics versus those who are social media blowhards and think they know it all, let us explain.

Big book deals are rewards for politicians and their overseers. Once printed, most sales of leftist books are by political groups. They then use these books as giveaways. Sure, the Republican Party does it too, but you always see the conservatives putting those books on top of the best-seller lists. Check Amazon and others. However, the New York Times began to manipulate their “best seller” lists and how they rank because conservative books would immediately rise to the top of their categories.

Consequently, conservatives buy the books from individuals they support; leftists don’t. Despite that, they’ll still get a fat contract because their political payoff is the money, not sales. Yet, to help with sales, PACs, the Democrat Party, wealthy individuals, and others pitch in to buy them in bulk to give away.

SPORTS GRUMBLINGS SPOTLIGHT

Breaking News – Brittney Griner, WNBA Superstar, Released! (sportsgrumblings.com)

Griner, the NBA subsidized star, comments on her release from a Russian gulag and coming home. Furthermore, she believes it’s about time!

POLITICS, ENTERTAINMENT, AND POP CULTURE ROUND UP

Disney’s ‘Strange World’ Plummets 60% In Its Second Weekend (cartoonbrew.com)

Those defending ousted and disgraced CEO Bob Chapek because Bob Iger initiated the development of this movie are idiots. Between giving the green light and release, this movie went woke.

Indeed, it’s likely, Chapek gave the blessing to do this. That’s based on his role, actions, and results as CEO. Going woke is a big reason for the film bombing.

If they fail, they can try again. What is our side doing?

Nolte: Trevor Noah Exits ‘The Daily Show’ a Total Failure (breitbart.com)

Trevor Noah got the job because leftist decision-makers felt he would be acceptable to their predominantly white male audience. Nevertheless, in their defense, they brought in a black comic, albeit from a different country. Give credit where it’s due – at least they back up their talk. NBC, ABC, and CBS demanded that others hire black Americans, yet they have three pasty white individuals.

Noah isn’t as funny as other leading American comedians, black, white, yellow, etc., and wasn’t even American. Regardless, no one can deny he was a failure when you look at the ratings, and that’s for one reason which has nothing to do with color, culture, or politics. He wasn’t funny! More importantly, look at the pop cultural perspective. Jon Stewart’s ratings were never great, but he did get regurgitated on social media, expanding his reach. Despite this setback, leftists control all the mechanisms that drive pop culture to create the narrative of tribalism they seek.

WE ARE OUR OWN WORST ENEMY

THE GREAT ONE: Levin Torches GOP Ruling Class — ‘They Failed Us!’ (hannity.com)

The irony is that he didn’t say why we’re losing. Our losses are because of two issues.

  1. Establishment dominance with their re-elections, despite the damage they do to their constituents.
  2. The ignorance and, at times, the stupidity of conservative and Libertarian sheep.

Politicians are like rock stars, and many grassroots leaders, much less sheep, are blind to the fact they act like groupies after meeting one. Who will if our activists can’t hold their feet to the fire? That’s the problem.

To change that, we must educate the conservative voter and eliminate activists without the ability to understand the big picture.

‘Twitter Files’ 3.0 Show Twitter Censor Joking About FBI Collusion (thefederalist.com)

This is all noise, and when you combine it with the mainstream media not covering this for one specific reason: it goes against the narrative, and nothing will happen. In fact, we need and must go back to the Obama era. That’s when big tech and Democrats began to work together.

We will never become a country for the people until we cleanse the government of those willing to destroy the constitution for authoritarian gain.

Nevertheless, with a feckless Republican Party who cares more about keeping an aristocratic lifestyle – see Mitch McConnell and company – the opportunity to clean up government in the near future is unlikely!
