The Round Up

This Round Up brings us Emmanuel Macron and a new world order, FTX throwing Caroline Ellison under the bus, and more vaccinated are dying than the unvaccinated. Plus, more.

As we face vital issues in America, The Round Up is your answer for a world that moves fast. Having legitimate news stories as opposed to the mainstream media narrative is extremely important in understanding the truth.

These are stories that affect us and make us think and laugh too! There are also stories of poignancy, remembrance, and good old fun, because “laughter is still the best medicine!”

We aggregate from thousands of sources. Enjoy, enlighten, and educate yourselves about the reality of today’s America and the New World Order, or as one of our owners would say, “Live and learn.”

SPORTS ROUND UP

Jimmy Garoppolo Avoids Surgery, Could Return for 49ers’ Playoff Run (NBC New York)

This is excellent news, but they still have to play. We must see if Brock Purdy can do the job of game management/not lose the game for them.

With their defense, the pressure on Purdy isn’t to win games but not to make mistakes that can lose them. He performed admirably in his first foray and has four full years of starting under his college belt. Thus, he has more experience than most young signal callers. The problem many see is his physical limitations.

However, where you go and the schemes a team uses define a quarterback’s success and Purdy’s in a scheme that demands accuracy foremost. If he’s accurate, the schemes will work and not push him to press and expose his lack of physical skills.

What can the Denver Broncos do with Russell Wilson’s contract? (PFF)

Maybe Russell Wilson isn’t the problem. Social media really brings out the ignorant fools in sports. Armchair quarterbacks with absolutely no clue. Then you have to look at writers with an axe to grind, not being objective.

As stated in a previous “Round Up,” look at the fact that the play calling is abysmal. Furthermore, it’s a one-man job with 2-3 three individuals involved. You also have a “legacy” head coach in Nathaniel Hackett, showing he’s not qualified. Thus, there will likely be some truth to his name, putting him ahead of other better candidates.

THE POLICE BLOTTER ROUND UP

Lincoln police: Mickey Joseph punched and choked his wife during an argument over infidelity (omaha.com)

What an idiot. To work his way up, and as a black man, overcoming obstacles to do this to yourself is as moronic as it can come. Mickey Joseph went from an “interim” head coach at a major university to being arrested for domestic abuse. Thus, ruining a potential career. At least for the short term, he has.

He could have used his temporary head coaching job as a springboard to land a permanent coaching job elsewhere or at least be on someone’s radar with a potential opportunity. Now he’ll be lucky to get a gig as a water boy.

Goodbye, Tulsa interview. Moreover, this man is a poster child for how to end your career when you’re on the cusp! 🤦🏽

No criminal charges will be filed against Matt Araiza (nbcsports.com)

It appears the woman was drunk as a skunk, so we’ll never know what happened. It also appears she’s accusing innocent men.

Lest we forget, the “me too” (#Metoo) era led to many accusations without proof. It became political and used as a weapon by many women. In San Diego, the district attorney is female but not leftist and has a reputation for fair-handed investigations. Therefore, a fair investigation likely took place.

This woman or family may be looking for a payout here but could also see a lawsuit from Araiza for a potentially false accusation. Meanwhile, he has no football career, and in the NFL, you go from poor or working class to being in the top 10% to 1% of financially secure Americans. In other words, you’re rich.

RIP TO A FORGOTTEN GREAT

Cleveland Indians legend, Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry dies at 84 (wkyc.com)

There wasn’t much fanfare in the mainstream media on his death. Hence, proving one thing about life, fame is fleeting, no matter who you are.

A few articles here and there, but Gaylord Perry is what you call a grinder and old-school. He had hall-of-fame success and is in the Hall of Fame, but openly admitted to using a substance (spit) on the ball. Although he claimed he stopped.

One of the men who paved the way for today’s massive overpaid contracts, RIP Mr. Perry, as you begin your next journey.

SPORTS GRUMBLINGS SPOTLIGHT

Breaking News – Brittney Griner, WNBA Superstar, Released! (sportsgrumblings.com)

Griner, the NBA subsidized star, comments on her release from a Russian gulag and coming home. Furthermore, she believes it’s about time!

POLITICS, POP CULTURE, AND ENTERTAINMENT ROUND UP

Covid is no longer mainly a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Here’s why. (The Washington Post)

The irony of life and truths. We often see truths as conspiracy theories because the “sheep” believe the lies. Covid deaths of the unvaccinated now comprise 58%.

The jab is not saving you. Despite that, most follow through with jab after jab with a vaccine that all should question but isn’t. Again, the irony is that conspiracy deniers said they wouldn’t catch it.

What’s worse? Those same intellectual elites claim they never said that, despite all the evidence. In addition, they now say, “I caught COVID, but it could’ve been worse.” Sure cupcake, sure. 🤦🏽‍♂️

AUTHORITARIAN BIG TECH STRUGGLING

Several Meta Staff Claim Not Getting Severance As Promised By CEO Mark Zuckerberg After Mass Layoff (mashable.com)

Not Mark Zuckerberg? Say it ‘ain’t so! He’s the most giving, privileged white man in America. 🤦🏽

Seriously, this boils down to the contract and Meta promises. Moreover, that has to be written versus someone stating it unless they publicly declared it to the employees. Did they read the fine print?

Google must make layoffs to cut costs, analyst says (shrinkdlink.com)

Suppose Google doesn’t get rid of dead weight. In that case, it will experience what Japanese companies did before the turn of the century, bleeding money into individuals not contributing to the bottom line.

Retired or overpaid individuals destroyed the belief system of always taking care of employees, even to the company’s detriment. The Japanese found out there is a bottom line. After hitting that, these costs will affect a company’s ability to do its purpose.

Therefore, executives’ heads will roll without cutbacks at Google because, eventually, an influential stockbroker or hedge fund manager will begin taking action or trying to take action. Google’s likely seeing that now.

What Was Caroline Ellison’s Role In FTX’s Collapse? (industryleadersmagazine.com)

The FTX collapse will test the legitimacy of everything pro-crypto analysts state are its strengths. Additionally, their biggest test will come, and that’s governments jumping in. No, not to compete, but to regulate and control it. There will never be digital currency with no government involvement. It goes against human nature.

Hence, with governments now having the excuse to insert themselves because of FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried, the crypto world will change for the worse. Furthermore, government intervention rarely leads to good.

THE NEW WORLD ORDER?

Emmanuel Macron Comes Clean: “We Need A Single Global Order” (ZeroHedge)

The elites have wanted this for centuries. On the surface, it actually makes sense. If we were a human race that believed in Kumbaya, we’re not.

It’s human nature that sees elites seeking this. As a result, that’s easily turned into conspiracy theories by deniers. Wealth goes hand-in-hand with power; elites accumulate wealth and power along the way and crave it more.

Thus, with technology and mainstream media working with them to create the narratives they need to press forward, it can now be done. At least on paper for now.

The only defense against this? We, the people. However, we’re the ones electing terrible actors on both sides of the aisle, and hell, the current “independents” are as useless as the two parties. Hence, if you want change, get off your duff and get involved.
