Then again, outside his Mission Impossible franchise, he hadn’t had a blockbuster hit in decades until the Top Gun sequel came out. Even then, like the MI series, it was an already known commodity, nothing new. Clearly, America only loves an older Tom in movies he’s already done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, kudos to the late great tandem of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, whose creation, Black Panther, transcends comics to become a cultural icon for black America.
